Everyone is creative.
I truly believe this statement. Our individual talents and passions allow us to express our creativity differently. Nonetheless we all desire to create - it's an innate gift born within each of us.
A wise man said,
"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul."
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf
Marifly began as a company devoted to the expression of creativity. It has grown into a company with multiple branches, one dedicated to the textiles and the home, while Noni & V focuses on quality and beloved children's goods.
Nonetheless, the foundation of both facets, remains firm on the meaning of Marifly:
1. Mari [Mahr / ee]:
It's the beginning of the word Mariposa, which means butterfly in Spanish.
Butterflies are fascinating creatures. Initially, they're pretty ugly. However, they transform into beautiful butterflies, adding light to the world around them. As creators we, too, experience ugly stages, perhaps more often than not, and these experiences define and refine our work to become more influential and inspirational.
2. Fly:
This concept isn't as grand, but I feel it to be true. When we find how to express our individual creativity, we fly. We feel motivated to persevere. We feel purpose while we work. And we feel confidence, when we share our gift.
